ANSWER

Malaysia

According to Regulation 22 (7) of Food Regulation 1985, permitted flavouring substance may contain permitted preservative, permitted antioxidant and permitted food conditioner. Malaysia Food Regulation does not allow permitted flavouring to be added with colouring.

Philippines

According to BFAD B.C. 2006-016 Updated List of Food Additives, usage of permitted flavoring substance in permitted food colors would be under the Carry-Over Principle of Food Additives into Food. For the allowance,  make sure that the additive (flavoring) is not greater in quantity than the additive to which it is added (coloring). The amount of both additives should not exceed the maximum level permitted in BFAD B.C. 2006-016 Updated List of Food Additives.
