According to the Japanese Standards for Use, according to Use Categories, Citric Acid and Anthocyanin are allowed to be used in cookies but there are no specific regulations that stipulate their maximum limitations in cookies.

According to the List of Existing Food Additives, Pectin is permitted for usage in Japan.
