DPO International took part in the Healthplex Expo 2025, Natural & Nutraceutical Products China (HNC 2025), held from 24–26 June at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Shanghai, co-exhibiting alongside long-time brand partner, BENEO.

The event provided a valuable opportunity for us to engage with visitors from across the health and nutrition industry, including those from the health beverage, functional foods, dietary supplement, and ingredient trading sectors.

A range of functional ingredients was featured, including sugar replacements, dietary fibres, and other health-supporting solutions aligned with growing demand for wellness and clean-label products.

Among the ingredients that drew strong interest from visitors was inulin, a prebiotic dietary fibre derived from chicory root. Well recognised in China, inulin is widely used in functional food and health product formulations for its digestive health benefits.

In addition, betaine, a newly introduced ingredient from BENEO, also received a high number of enquiries from visitors interested in its potential applications and nutritional benefits.
