May I know what is the Malaysia regulations and nutrients requirements to claim a beverages as sport drink and energy drink?

ANSWER

According to Regulation 354 of Food Regulations 1985, there are no specific regulations for sport drinks and energy drinks. These products shall fall under Regulation 354 Flavoured Drinks and shall not be labelled as a Sport Drink or Energy drink.
