Can you provide the regulatory update for food ingredients at Thailand?

ANSWER

Food products containing some parts of cannabis or hemp as an ingredient

Only licensed producers in Thailand are authorized to use some parts of cannabis (Cannabis indica Lam. or Cannabis sativa L.) or hemp (Cannabis sativa L. subsp. sativa), such as barks, stems, fibers, branches, roots and leaves without sugar leaves or inflorescent in some of products.

 

Food categories containing cannabidiol extracts from cannabis or hemp as an ingredient;

Specific requirements have been authorized for the usage of these extracts in food supplements, carbonated flavored beverages, non-carbonated flavored beverages, and cereal and grain beverages.
