ANSWER
In general, the label with HCL logo for Malaysia will be accepted by Singapore. However, Malaysia is yet to accept products with Singapore’s HCS logo. Hence, it would be better to only use HCL logo for both countries.
The use of both HCL Malaysia and Singapore HCS logo on food and beverage product labels will only be approved if the following conditions have been complied with:

Only products that meet the HCL Malaysia nutrient criteria will only be considered to use both HCL and HCS logos together.

Product specifications , declarations and statements on label should comply with Food Act 1983, Food Regulations 1985 and Guidelines on Healthier Choice Logo Malaysia. Any products that have been certified of the use of both the HCL and HCS logo shall still be liable to action if it fails to comply with any provision under the Food Act 1987 or the Food Regulations 1985.

The approval of the usage of both the HCL and HCS logo should be obtained from the Nutrition Division, MOH before the logo is used on food and beverage products marketed in Malaysia.

The HCS certificate (must be valid at the time of application) must be accompanied by other documents during application for use of both logos.

The position of both the logo on the product label should be appropriate and able to promote Malaysia’s HCL initiatives.
