Is E475 Polyglycerol esters of fatty acid in bakery application approved by CODEX? As i know it is categorized as GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe).

ANSWER

According to General Standard For Food Additives (CODEX STAN 192-1995), E475 Polyglycerol Ester of Fatty Acids are NOT permitted to be used in bakery wares.
