What are the suitable and permitted colouring that can be used in different yogurt drink flavors. Colouring will have to comply to Sri Lanka’s colouring regulation?

According to Food (Colouring Substances) Regulations 2006, proposed colouring for yogurt drinks in Sri Lanka

  • Creamy Strawberry: Carmosine E122 or Erythrosine E127
  • Creamy Apple: Fast Green FCF E 143
  • Creamy Cranberry: Ponceau 4R E124 or Erythrosine E127
  • Creamy Mango: Sunset Yellow E110 or Tartrazine E102
  • Creamy Mixed Berries: Brilliant Blue FCF E133 or Indigo Carmine E132
  • Mocha: Caramel E150b or combination of Caramel E150b, Tartrazine E102 and Brilliant Blue FCF E133.
  • Tiramisu: No Colouring or Caramel E150b
