• The Ministry of Agriculture Indonesia has released a new regulation concerning the maximum limit of radioactive contaminants for fresh food of animal and plant origin that is imported from nuclear emergency countries (Ministry of Agriculture Regulation No. 12 Year 2022)
• Fresh food is food from animal/plant with minimal processing (drying, slicing, freezing, etc.) without the addition of food additives.
• Fresh food originating from nuclear emergency countries must be accompanied with a non-radioactivity certificate with analysis result from an accredited laboratory.
