Pls advise if shelf life of end product is dependent on shelf life of raw ingredient, especially when there is no treatment ie pasteurisation subjected. For example, if raw material expires in March 2017, but it is used in production in Feb 2017, can my end product still declare a shelf life of 12 mths if my production is just a dry mix, and no other treatment is applied?

In checking a product’s shelf-life, one can conduct a Stability Test to check the shelf life along with checking the quality of the raw materials used in making the product. Raw materials and products’ life may vary with time and exposure to environmental factors.
