In DPO International’s commitment to supporting educational initiatives, a collaboration was recently established between Ricebowl Asia and Taylor’s University for Daniel Pans, Group CEO of DPO International to share his vital real life experiences and impart essential wisdom about the food industry to the students of Food Science, Food Technology and Culinology majors. The talk was held on the 8th December 2016 at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus.
Daniel shared insights on how he overcame the Belgium’s Dioxin Crisis during the early days of setting up DPO International and how the students can strive for success in the food industry while keeping in mind the countless variables that affects the industry. Daniel continued to explain on the importance of respecting food safety regulations and how it relates to wastage that could have a drastic impact on a company’s image and even economies.
The talk was attended by over 100 students and lecturers and ended with a scrumptious three-course meal prepared by Taylor’s Hospitality students.
